Chip’s Auto Glass has developed proprietary mobile ADAS recalibration technology that allows many eligible vehicles to receive windshield replacement and recalibration during one appointment at a home, workplace, or another qualifying location.
Before completing a mobile recalibration, we confirm that the vehicle, service area, available space, surroundings, and environmental conditions support an accurate result. When those requirements cannot be met, the service can be completed at a properly equipped Chip’s Auto Glass shop.
Our technicians follow the required procedure and confirm that the recalibration has been completed successfully before returning the vehicle.

Should a Windshield Be Repaired or Replaced?
Small, contained damage may be repairable when it is located away from the edge of the windshield and the driver’s direct line of sight.
Replacement may be necessary when the damage affects visibility, reaches the edge of the glass, compromises structural integrity, or cannot be repaired safely.
Our technicians evaluate:

- The location of the chip or crack
- Whether the damage reaches the edge of the windshield
- Whether dirt or moisture has entered the damaged area
