Load index is a numerical code that corresponds to the maximum weight a tire can safely carry when properly inflated.

Indicates the maximum speed at which a tire is certified to safely carry its load. It's represented by a letter (A-Z) on the tire sidewall, with higher letters generally corresponding to faster speeds.

Load range on tires refers to the maximum weight a tire can safely carry at a specified inflation pressure. Sometimes it is interchangeably used with ply rating.

The flexible side section of a tire that connects the tread to the wheel rim. Displays crucial information about the tire specifications.

Ply refers to the layers of material, often fabric or steel, that make up the tire's structure. The ply rating represents the tire's overall strength and ability to carry loads.

The distance measured across the face of the wheel, from bead seat to bead seat.

The measurement of the wheel's barrel from the inside edge of one bead seat to the inside edge of the other bead seat. This is the area where the tire fits and is sealed onto the wheel.
